In this second volume of The Book of Beings, seventeen year-old Manon is on a nice, long road trip with her gorgeous, sensitive, super-human crush, Elias. She’s got him all to herself. 24/7.

Plus, he’s agreed to answer any questions she wants to ask him. 

Which means Manon might finally be able to comprehend all the strange stuff that’s been going on for the last few months, starting right around when she found herself inexplicably pregnant.

All of which is good—well, some of it is better than good.

Even if it means she has to completely revise her view of reality.

And really, as long as she’s allowed to have a nervous breakdown every once in a while, Manon can handle getting chased by bad guys, having to throw herself off of cliffs, crashing cars, blowing things up, being the object of a nation-wide manhunt, hurling through time and space, participating in knife fights, and possibly upsetting the balance between good and evil.

But she is having a hard time following those idiotic paranormal rules, the ones that say she has to keep her hands off Elias.
